Panchakarma will rid the body of toxins, and the soul from stress
Many health problems are psychosomatic in nature. Stress, overwork and constant haste bring our body into a state of struggle or depression, from which it cannot get out on its own. In cases where medications are ineffective, Ayurvedic practices come to the rescue, which relax the body and mind, help restore internal balance and replenish energy reserves. We decided to ask a specialist at the Anuradh Ayurveda and Tantra-Jyotish Center in more detail about the use of Indian procedures to improve well-being.
- Many people think that Ayurveda and SPA procedures are one and the same. Is this really so, and why did such thinking arise?
- At first glance, these procedures are very similar. The use of aromatic oils, massages, various face and body masks. But in reality, the difference is enormous. Ayurveda is the practice of Indian traditional medicine that is based on ancient teachings about the healing properties of herbs. In Hindu philosophy, it is these practices that are interpreted as the main ones in the healing of the soul and body.
- How are medicinal herbs selected in Ayurveda?
- An individual approach is very important. The specialist meets with the client, listens to what worries him, what health problems he has. Then he selects the individual composition of the herbal collection, which is aimed at improving the condition of this particular person. Thus, the visitor gets the maximum effect and feels an improvement after the first visit. Ayurveda practices consist of massage treatments and other ancient practices such as yoga, meditation, body warming with warm oil, and panchakarma.
- Tell us more about Panchakarma, I'm sure many people hear about this method for the first time.
- Panchakarma is a comprehensive program for cleansing and rejuvenating the body. It includes 5 basic procedures that can significantly improve the functioning of the whole organism in a short time. These are the therapeutic procedures of Vamana, Virechan, Vasti, Nasya, Rakta Moksha. The elimination of toxins from the body is performed in turn, starting with the digestive system and ending with the circulatory system. During the procedures, the stomach and intestines are cleared in several ways, then bloodletting takes place with the help of leeches and at the end the skin is already cleansed with oils and massage techniques.
Before each stage of Panchakarma, a thorough multi-stage preparation is carried out both on the physical and mental levels. Therefore, it is very dangerous to carry out the procedure yourself at home, it should only take place in professional centers under the supervision of specialists.
- How does Panchakarma affect the body?
- In the most beneficial way! Cleans, rejuvenates, refreshes, stimulates the flow of oxygen into the blood, and therefore improves the functioning of all organs, especially the brain. This means that after such a procedure, visitors to the Center will not only look better, but also become much healthier. Panchakarma is primarily therapeutic in nature. It helps to heal problems with the stomach and intestines, relieves of psychosomatic abdominal cramps and, of course, it helps a person to free thoughts from unnecessary anxieties and relaxes the nervous system.
- Can everyone do Panchakarma?
- Unfortunately, like all therapeutic procedures, carrying out panchakarma has a number of limitations. Among them are viral diseases in the active phase, pregnancy, the presence of open wounds, alcohol and drug intoxication, diseases of the digestive system, such as ulcers, pancreatitis, gastritis in an active form. This list must be adhered to impeccably so as not to harm the patient.
- Are there any age restrictions?
- Of course they exist, but they are quite individual. We do not recommend panchakarma for children under 10 years of age. But this is understandable. Panchakarma rejuvenates and detoxifies the body, and young children simply do not have enough toxins to remove. With regard to the extreme limitation, it depends on the well-being of the person and his wishes. People of different ages come to the Ayurveda and Tantra-Jyotish Center "Anuradh": both at 20 and at 65. We select the right complex of procedures depending on the needs of our clients.
- How should you prepare for the procedure?
- The preparatory stage is called purvakarma or pre-action. It includes choosing the right diet, restoring a healthy daily routine, daily gymnastics and, of course, consultation with a specialist who will help with the full cycle of the procedure.
- How to choose the right Ayurvedic practice?
- The most important advice is to listen to the signals of your body. Sometimes a common pimple is a reason to think about nutrition, and sleepiness is not always the result of lack of sleep, but a sign of chronic stress.
Come to the Ayurveda and Tantra Jyotish Center "Anuradh" and we will select for you a unique set of procedures that will cleanse your body of toxins and your soul from stress.
